Joan Eardley in the Derek Hill Collection
The National Trust’s Mottisfont

Mottisfont, National Trust, Nr Romsey, Hampshire SO51 0LP
From 19th May 2021

At Mottisfont we’re marking Eardley’s centenary by bringing together three of her works for display: Catterline in Winter, Study of a Burn and Cornfields, September. The paintings were gifted to us in 1996 by artist Derek Hill, who was a deep admirer of Eardley and wrote of her ‘supremacy’ in 1964.

The display will be accompanied by photographs of Eardley immersed in her work.

Please check The National Trust website for open times and dates.
