City Art Centre

2 Market Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1DE
15 May – 10 October 2021

To celebrate Joan Eardley’s centenary, the City Art Centre in Edinburgh is presenting a mini display of four artworks by Eardley from the gallery’s permanent collection of fine art.

The display showcases the range of Eardley’s creative practice, from her characterful studies of Glasgow children to her evocative, windswept Catterline landscapes. Key pieces include the pastel drawing Girl in a Striped Cardigan and the oil painting July Fields (c.1959).
