Arran Arts Heritage TraiL

The Arran Arts Heritage Trail launched on the 29th April. Eardley now has a dedicated place marker with her name carved in Arran sandstone located at the shore in Corrie to mark her formative years spent painting on Arran and the global reach and importance of her work.

A short film about Eardley’s time on Arran, focusing on the Tabernacle where she and Sandeman shared a studio, can be viewed here

AAHT also hosted a symposium on the 29th April to mark the launch of the trial. A recording of ‘In Conversation with Kirsty Wark | Joan Eardley’s work & legacy’ can be viewed here
